The Annual Careers for Women conference will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at Fox Hill Event Center in Cadillac.  It will be an all-day event highlighting non-traditional careers for women.  There are several speakers lined up to make for an interesting day.  Lunch will be provided.  High school girls in 10th–12th grade may sign up in Mrs. Richardson’s office if interested.

Camp Rotary counselor application packets are available in the office during lunch or after school for all interested seniors, juniors, and sophomores.

 

Juniors – there will be a prom committee meeting in Mr. Bongard’s room today at lunch. 

 

Seniors, it is finally 2013!  Since graduation and the senior trip are only a few short months away, please remember that your class dues are due by February 1.  This is the absolute last day dues will be collected.  You must have your dues paid to go on the senior trip.   If you are not sure how much you owe, please see Mrs. McNalley or Storm Francisco

The Missaukee County Road Commission requests your cooperation through the winter months while snowplowing is taking place. Please be aware of the fact that the plows are on the roads many morning at the same times that the buses are picking up students.  Make sure you wait safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus actually arrives at their stop.  It is important that we work together to make certain of student safety.  If you have questions regarding the above or any other snow removal problems, feel free to call Kelly Bekken, manager of Missaukee County Road Commission at 839-4361.

Great job yesterday YACsters!  Your singing and visiting at Belle Oakes was very much appreciated.

 

There will be a prom meeting in Mr. Bongard’s room during lunch on Thursday, December 13.  Please come with some enthusiasm and let’s get ready to make some serious plans.

 

JUNIORS - let your parents know there will be a SHORT meeting in Mr. Bongard’s room right after the board meeting tomorrow regarding after-prom.  Please let your parents know we need them.  If your parents want to participate and are not able to be at the meeting let Mr. Bongard know. 

 

NHS – there will be a meeting tomorrow at 7:47 a.m. in Ms. Bernier’s room.  Please be on time and bring your planner.

 

Wednesday tutoring is scheduled with Mr. Nederhood.
