GENERAL

The Cadillac Footliters Junior Players are offering a six week workshop to students age 8-18.  The workshop will introduce youth to theatre by focusing on character development, costumes and props, set design, lights and sound effects, make-up, musical theatre and then putting it all together in a short skit for family and friends.  If you’re interested in participating, please pick up a brochure in Mrs. Richardson’s office.

 

The Junior class will be selling Prom tickets at lunch today.  Please pay attention when you buy the tickets.  Timberwolf Lake Lodge has some additional information they require for each person attending Prom.  After-prom packets may be picked up at the same time.

 

Attention Seniors – If you are interested in attending the Annual Governor’s Breakfast April 9 and you have not talked with Mr. Smith be sure to do so by the end of the day.

 

This is the last week to purchase a 2008 yearbook.  If you have not purchased one, please see a yearbook student ASAP!  They are $35.  You can pay $20 now and $15 when they come in.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

Scholarship applications are available from the Wexford-Missaukee Professional Federation.  Applicants must be able to get a sponsorship from a member who will write a letter on their behalf.  Members include ISD and CTC personnel.  See Mrs. Richardson for an application.  They are due by May 1st.

 

NEXT YEAR CTC STUDENTS – CTC has a new enrollment form that needs to be filled out for ALL new and 2nd year students.  You can pick them up at Mrs. Richardson’s office.  Fill them out and return to Mrs. Richardson ASAP.

 

10th and 11th graders – CTC is changing their Robotics program to include other concentrations.  The new program will be called Electrical Occupations and will include electronics, wiring, robotics, and automation.  See Mrs. Richardson if you are interested.

 

Seniors – if you are planning on attending Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, see Mrs. Richardson for a scholarship opportunity.

 

Seniors – If you are interested in going in to some type of Environmental Science program, see Mrs. Richardson for a scholarship application from the Friendly Garden Club.  There are many fields that fall under this scholarship, so stop in and see if you might qualify.

 

SPORTS

Attention Spring Sports Athletes – Please remember that pictures will be taken on Monday, April 7, the day you return from spring break.
