YAC-sters - if you would like to attend Sunday’s YAC conference at Baker from 2-6 p.m., please see

SENIORS – Jostens will be here Tuesday, October 18 to take your orders for graduation announcements and your cap and gown package.  Take your order form and a $50.00 deposit to

the library during lunch.  If you have questions about your order, payment, or need an order packet, see Ms. Gilson asap.

 

JUNIORS – Help raise money for prom and your senior class trip.  Put on those aprons and chef hats and start baking!  Baked goods are needed for the upcoming parent/teacher conferences.  Watch for a sign- up sheet to donate 30 minutes of your time to sell the donated baked goods.  All proceeds go to your class so be sure to recruit family and friends to donate and purchase the tasty goodies!

 

Congratulations to the student of the week – Sam Wilton.

 

This is your last chance to buy a 2011 Lake City Football Playoff shirt.  All orders and money must

be turned in to Ms. Gilson by noon today.  Order forms are in the athletic wall pocket.

 

TROJAN TAILGATE!  The Lake City Boosters are sponsoring a pig roast before the varsity football game tonight from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the athletic complex.  The meal is catered by Ebels and will feature pork, baked beans, potato salad and a beverage.  Cost is $5.00 dollars per person or $20.00 dollars per family.  All money raised from this event goes to the LCAS athletic program.   

Baker College segment 1 driver’s training will begin the end of this month.  Applications are outside the office or you may contact Mr. Yeoman’s during lunch for drivers training in the new Camaro. 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

The Northwood University visit for October 19 has been cancelled.

 

Saginaw Valley University and Kuiper College will both be here on Monday.  Sign up in the office during your lunch or after school to meet with them.

 

ATHLETICS

 

Varsity football vs Manton, home, 7:00 p.m.

Saturday – JV volleyball @ Chippewa Hills, invite starts at 8:30 a.m.

Saturday – Varsity Cross Country @ Ogemaw Heights, invite starts at 11:00 a.m.

 

ATHLETES – your trash bag orders will be delivered today.  Please make arrangements to pick

up your orders after school.  Someone will be at the concession stand to assist you. 

Remember – you will not be able to take your orders on the school bus.

Attention students - looking for a way to get more spirit points? Tomorrow will be a Blue & Yellow and Green & White day in honor of the “Big Game” Saturday at noon. Choose a side and check in at the beginning of lunch.
