Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Bethany Elders.

 

Seniors – you have a class meeting today at 3:05 p.m. in the auditorium. 

 

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

Seniors – Mrs. Richardson has applications for the Mason Scholarship.  Applications need to be turned in by Friday, November 22.  Remember that four letters of recommendation are required to be turned in with your application.

 

Registration for dual enrollment through Mid-Michigan Community College for 2nd semester is open.  If you are interested in dual enrollment for 2nd semester, see Mrs. Richardson for eligibility requirements and enrollment information.

 

ATHLETICS

 

There is a meeting in Mr. Prielipp’s room today during lunch for anyone interested in playing girls basketball.

 

Girls basketball practice begins Monday, November 11.  The 9th and 10th grade will practice from 3:30-5:00 p.m., and 11th and 12th grade from 5-6:30 p.m.  You must have a current physical on file with the athletic department. 

 

Cheer tryouts for the winter season will be held November 12, 13, and 14 in the band room from

4-5:30 p.m.  You must have a current physical on file with the athletic department.

 

There will be a spec bus to Lincoln-Alcona tomorrow.  Bus will leave at 9:45 a.m.  There are 40 seats available.  Cost is $3.00 and you must pay when you sign up.  Cost of admission is $5.00 at the gate. Sign up in the office by noon today. Middle school and elementary students must be accompanied by an adult.

Baker College of Cadillac is offering segment I driver training starting tomorrow.  Forms are available outside the office or you may contact Mr. Yeomans.

NHS – there will be a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:51 a.m.  Please be on time and bring your planners.  Also, elder members, remember to touch base with one of the inductees so you can turn in an intro tomorrow.
