Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Cassie Drouillard.

 

Seniors - nominations for Senior Oscar Night 2013 are in. Today is the last day to cast your final vote. Stop by Mr. Thom’s room today at lunch or after school and choose which of your classmates deserve these lifelong titles.

 

Senior Oscar Night Performers - there will be a short meeting in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room at lunch.

 

Juniors and Seniors – because of time limitations, prom and after-prom tickets will only be sold through the end of next week. Please plan accordingly to purchase tickets. If this causes a problem see Mr. Bongard to make arrangements.  Deadline for purchasing a ticket is Friday, April 19. 

 

NHSers - if you are interested and able to help with the Special Olympics Spring Games in Cadillac on May 22, please see Ms. Bernier ASAP to sign up and get more information.    Math tutoring is scheduled for today with Mr. Thom.   The freshman class is selling Lake City cinch sacs for $10.  If interested you can purchase them from Mrs. Clous.    COUNSELOR’S CORNER   “Chance is a word void of sense, nothing can exist without a cause.” ~ Voltaire   The meeting scheduled for today at 2:45 p.m. in the foods room for students interested in dual enrollment, Teacher Academy, or independent study for next year has been rescheduled for 8:30 tomorrow morning. .  ATHLETICS   .

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Cassie Drouillard.

 

Forensics Students – you will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. today for regionals. Bus departs at 1:30 p.m.

 

Prom tickets will be sold at lunch every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until April 26.  Cost is $30 per person.  Prom will be held at El Dorado.  After-prom will be at The Pines and tickets are $5.

Sell, sell!   Tutoring is scheduled for today with Mrs. McNalley in room 13.   Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, April 11 with Mr. Thom.   Baker College is offering segment 1 driver education classes beginning Thursday, April 18.  Sign up forms are located outside the office or see Mr. Yeomans at lunch to sign up.   COUNSELOR’S CORNER   “If you have a strong mind and plant in it a firm resolve, you can change your destiny.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda   Schedule requests for next year are being completed.  If your schedule is not done, see Mrs. Richardson this week.   There is a meeting Thursday, April 11 at 2:45 p.m. in the foods room for any student who is interested in dual enrollment, Teacher Academy, or independent study next year. If you cannot make the meeting you must see Mrs. Richardson this week.  During this meeting you will be able to get an application and sign up, or get more information.    All students who are planning to attend CTC next year (even if you are a current CTC student) must fill out an application by the end of the day Thursday, if you haven’t already.  Mrs. Richardson will be enrolling students at CTC on Friday. If you don’t have the information to her, you may not get a spot!   ATHLETICS   .

Prom tickets will be sold at lunch every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until April 26.  Cost is $30 per person.  Prom will be held at El Dorado.  After-prom will be held at The Pines.  After-prom tickets will also be sold at a cost of $5 each. 

 

NHSers - there will be a meeting tomorrow at 7:48 a.m.  Please be on time and bring your planners!   Tutoring is scheduled for tomorrow with Mrs. McNalley in room 13.   Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, April 11 with Mr. Thom.   Baker College is offering segment 1 driver education classes beginning Thursday, April 18.  The Mustang, Camaro, and Firebird are ready to go.  Sign up forms are located outside the office or see   Mr. Yeomans at lunch to sign up.   Seniors – tomorrow morning is the last time you may pay Brittany Goudos-Weisbecker or Meggan Martin for your senior shirt.  The shirts will be ordered during first hour.  .   COUNSELOR’S CORNER   Schedule requests for next year are being completed.  If your schedule is not done, see Mrs. Richardson this week.   There is a meeting Thursday, April 11 at 2:45 p.m. in the foods room for any student who is interested in doing dual enrollment, Teacher Academy, or independent study next year.
