FRESHMAN – there will be a class officers meeting during lunch today.  Go get your lunch and come to Mr. Sarau’s room.

 

SENIORS – it is not too late to order you own copy of the Class of 2012 composite.  See Ms. Gilson

for an order form.

 

There will be a student council meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Vanderbrook’s room. Bring your final ideas for the spirit trip.

 

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Gaby Gauld.

 

SENIORSIf you did not order a senior shirt, but would still like one, we will be placing another order on March 2.  The cost for the shirt is $10 and can be turned in to Mrs. Peterson or Mrs. Atkins.

Girls JV/Varsity basketball @ Marion, bus departs at 4:45 p.m., game starts at 6:00 p.m.

 

BOYS BASKETBALL – parents night is scheduled for Thursday, March 1.  You must register your parents ASAP.  The sign up sheet is at Ms. Gilson’s door.

 

If you plan to go out for a spring sport, you must have a current physical on file with the athletic department.  This must be taken care of before the first day of practice on March 12.  See Ms. Gilson if you are not sure you have a physical on file.

BAND STUDENTS – you will be released at 11:20 a.m. today to eat lunch, get dressed, and load the busses for festival.  There will be no bell or announcement to dismiss you.  Your  teachers have a class roster and know who to release.  You are not to be in the high school hallway during this time – so take everything you need from your locker when you are dismissed.  The busses will leave at 12:00 noon

HEY GUYS – the 3rd Annual Mr. Lake City Contest will be held Friday, March 16.  Junior and senior guys are welcome to participate, however we will only take twelve contestants.  Sign up will be held today in the lobby during lunch and after school.  A parent will be there to answer questions.

 

Math tutoring is scheduled for today in Mr. Bongard’s room.

 

SOPHOMORES – you need to get the fundraiser money and order form to Mr. Castillo or

Mr. Bongard no later than the end of the day today.  If you cannot do that you need to speak to one of your advisors personally and not through another person.

Radio station 107.9 (WCDY) is holding their Gown Town event again this year.  Do you have a prom dress or accessories that you would like to donate?  Take all donations to Mrs. Richardson.  Ask your friends and relatives as well.  Listen to 107.9 for more details.

There will be a Missaukee Agricultural Youth Show Open House at the Falmouth Community Center February 25 from 3-6:00 p.m.  For more information call 231-878-5673.

 

SENIORS – pictures for the senior composite will be taken Wednesday, February 22 from 8:00 a.m. until noon.  Pictures will be taken in groups of 5-6 students at a time.  Stay in class until a photographer’s assistant calls for you.  Seniors attending morning CTC are to report to the auditorium before leaving for CTC or immediately upon returning.  If you would like to order your own copy of the composite and have not already received an order form, see Ms. Gilson asap.
