Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Nicole Priebe.

 

Seniors – now is the time to turn in your senior picture, baby picture, and a quote.  Submit these items to Mrs. Atkins, Brittany Goudos-Weisbecker, or Brittany DuVall.  All items need to be turned in by Friday, December 21!

 

The Lake City High School Drama Class will be performing “The Beatles Slept Here” tonight at

7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium, and on Saturday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.  Come watch your friends as they perform in this hilarious comedy filled with Beatles puns!

 

NHS - remember to drop off your treats for the play today and make sure they are individually wrapped.  Please also submit your t-shirt size and money as soon as possible.

BOYS BASKETBALL, WRESTLING AND CHEER ATHLETES – sports pictures are scheduled for today right after school.  Get changed as quickly as possible so we can take the individual pictures first.  See Ms Gilson if you need a picture envelope.

SENIOR ATHLETES – applications are available for the MIAAA Scholarship (Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association).  We can submit only one male and one female for this scholarship.  If interested see Ms. Gilson for selection criteria and an application.  Deadline for applications is January 18.

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Nicole Priebe.

 

YACsters - please remember there will be a meeting this Thursday, December 6 in Ms. Morse’s room at 7:15 a.m.  There will be doughnuts and juice.   

 

Beginning today the weight room will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school until 4:30.  This is available to all students in grades 8-12.

 

The Missaukee County Road Commission requests your cooperation through the winter months while snowplowing is taking place.  Please be aware that the plows are on the roads many mornings at the same times the buses are picking up students.  Make sure that you wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus actually arrives at your stop.  It is important that we all work together to make certain of student safety.  If you have questions regarding the above or any other snow removal problems, feel free to call Kelly Bekken, manager of the Missaukee County road Commission at 839-4361.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

Seniors who are re-taking the ACT in December – their new policy of having a photo uploaded is

now being strictly enforced.  Tomorrow is the deadline to upload a photo for the test.  If you do not do it by tomorrow, your registration will be cancelled and you will not be able to test!

 

Tutoring is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, with Mrs. McNalley.
