STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Starting Monday, May 2nd there will be no more charging at lunch time.  If you are Reduced or Full Paid you will need to have money in hand or on your account.  If you do not have either, then you will be given the alternate meal.  Please make sure that your meal account is up-to-date.  If you need a print out, please ask in the kitchen. 

 

Freshmen:  Get out there and sell your Yankee Candles.  Remember, the money you make will start your class with what they need for a super senior trip.  Money and orders are due Monday, May 2! If you did not receive a fundraiser packet, see Mrs. Peterson for one.

Varsity Baseball/Softball vs. Coleman at home.  Students dismiss at 3:00, game starts at 4:00 p.m.

 

Track at Mid-Michigan Invite, students dismiss at 2:15, bus departs at 2:30, meet starts at 4:00 p.m.

 

Saturday – Varsity Baseball/Softball at Brethren, game starts at 9:00 a.m.

 

There will be a football meeting Wednesday, May 4 at 11:45 in the high school gym for any student grades 9-11 interested in playing football. 

 

The spring trash bags sale will be held May 2-15. See any spring athlete or stop in the athletic office to place an order.

Tonight is Senior Oscar Night. Everyone is invited to help celebrate the “achievements” of the Class of 2016. Mr. Webb is hosting and there will be live performances from Shae, Ashia, the Lake City Jazz Band, and others.  $3 will get you in the door, but Seniors get in FREE.

Any junior wanting to present at Senior Oscar Night needs to see Val Aten. 

All Senior Oscar Night performers need stop and see Mrs. Vanderbrook on the way to lunch, for about two minutes, to get down the official name of act, equipment needed and song being performed.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                               

 

There will be an informational meeting on the Early College program at CTC on Wednesday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lake Superior room at CTC.  Early College is available to students who will be juniors in the following programs next year:  CNET, Welding, BMA, Public Safety or HRE.
