Test Fest is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5.  Seniors will not attend school that day.  Seniors may go to CTC, so let Ms Gilson know as soon as possible if you plan to attend.  We will run a bus.  Room assignments for 9th-11th grade students will be posted.

 

The Red Cross blood drive is this Friday.  See Aric Rhodes, Nicole Priebe, Zak L’Italien, or

Ms. Bernier if you would like to sign up to donate or have any questions.

Math tutoring is scheduled for today in Mr. Thom’s room.    There is a student council meeting today at lunch in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room.  No seniors.   This is the last call for Matchmakers.  See Mrs. VanderBrook by Friday, after that there is no chance of getting it. Cost is $2.00   Don’t miss the Classic Chevrolet vs Fox Motors basketball game this Saturday, March 2 at Lake City High School. It will be a great night of entertainment with prize drawings, a 50/50 raffle, half-court shoot-out, and more.  Cost is $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for students, and $10.00 for families.  The game begins at 7:00 p.m. – doors open at 6:00.  All proceeds will be donated to the boys basketball program.   COUNSELOR’S CORNER   "The road to happiness lies in two simple principles: find what interests you and that you can do well, and put your whole soul into it - every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have." ~ John D. Baker College is offering segment 1 driver education classes starting Friday, March 1.  Sign up forms are located outside the office or see Mr. Yeomans at lunch to sign up.

The student council would like to thank the participants and audience for a great Mock Rock Saturday night. The Lake City Bellas won in the individual category, and the prize of going on the Spirit Trip. The sophomores won the class entries with their rendition of “Single Ladies” by Beyoncé. After all the spirit points were totaled from this school year, the junior class wins the right to go on the Spirit Trip. The student council will be finalizing plans soon, so juniors be on the look-out to see if you attained the minimum number of points to go.   Tutoring is scheduled for Wednesday, February 27 with Mrs. Richardson in room 13.   Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, February 28 in Mr. Thom’s room.    COUNSELOR’S CORNER   “It is not what we read, but what we remember that makes us learned.
