STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday, November 18, 2011

Don’t forget that the blood drive is Monday.  It will be in the gym.  Please remember to eat a good breakfast and drink some water or juice before donating.  Also, please remember to bring a picture ID (school ID would work if you don’t have a license).  16 year old donors need to have a signed parent permission slip.  See Ms. Bernier if you have any questions.

Student Council - we will be counting and taking canned foods to the church after school today. Be in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room after school.  If you have practice or other commitments let

Mrs. VanderBrook or Mr. Thom know.

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Kathleen Bradley.

Sophomores - we will be having a can drive fundraiser on Saturday, December 3.  Talk to family and friends about saving returnables for the Class of 2012.  We will start at 10:00 in the morning.

Keep your ears tuned to announcements next week for more information.

The Missaukee County Road Commission would like to share this message with parents and students – “The Missaukee County Road Commission requests your cooperation through the winter months while snowplowing is taking place.  We ask that you be aware of the fact that the plows are on the roads many mornings at the same times that the buses are picking up students. We urge you to make sure that your children wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus actually arrives at their stop.  It is important that we work together to make certain of their safety.”  If you have any questions regarding the above or any other snow removal problems, feel free to call Kelly Bekken, manager, Missaukee County Road Commission 839-4361.
