The yearbooks have arrived!  If you still need to pick yours up see Mrs. Atkins.  Any remaining balance owed must be paid before you can receive the book.  The company sent 25 extra books. 

If you would like to purchase one, the cost is $40.  Any remaining books at the end of the year will be sent back to the company.  Get it now!  See Mrs. Atkins if you have any questions.

 

Baker College of Cadillac will be offering driver’s training starting June 9.  Take driver’s training in a convertible this summer!

 

Exam exemption applications are available in the wall pocket outside the office.  Completed forms need to be returned to the office by 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30. 

 

The gym is locked for graduation set up.  PE students are to use the locker room entrances off the library hallway.

We are offering a Summer Credit Recovery session again this summer.  You can make up a credit in Math, English, Science, or Social Studies (maximum of 3 courses = 1.5 credits).  The program will run for 3 weeks, 3 days per week, 3 hours per day per class, beginning on June 12.  If you are in need of making up a core class, see Mrs. Richardson for a sign-up sheet.

 

ATHLETICS

 

A fundraiser for the wrestling program has been scheduled for Saturday, May 26.  Any student interested in helping, must sign up with Ms. Gilson by Wednesday, May 23.  You will be picking up pine cones for the Dutchman Tree Farm.  Transportation to the farm will be provided.  Meet in the north parking lot of the high school by 8:00 a.m. on the 26th.

Missaukee Paddle Sports invites Lake City High School students to join our Lets Go Paddling! passport program for a summer of fun on Lake Missaukee.  We offer canoes, kayaks, and new this year, stand-up paddle boards.  Each pass includes unlimited canoe, kayak, and board rental on Lake Missaukee throughout the season based on availability.  The cost is $30 per pass and can be purchased by contacting Missaukee Paddle Sports at 839-8265.
