GENERAL

Seniors – your senior info and pictures are due before Christmas.  Please get this in as soon as possible to Mrs. Atkins or Hayley Mund.  There are only 5 days left.

 

The Missaukee County Sheriff’s Office is offering a snowmobile training class tomorrow, December 13.  See poster on bulletin board for more information.

 

Anyone interested in being a Camp Rotary Counselor needs to sign up in the office and pick up a packet.

 

If you are interested in participating in the “Bed Race” at Tip Up Town this year contact Nick at 231-328-2065 or 231-942-1005.

 

The LCHS drama class will be presenting The One and Only Santa Claus Monday, December 15 after the band concert. The play should begin around 8:15 P.M.; doors to the auditorium will open at 8:00. Admission is by donation to Cooperative Ministry in Lake City. Cooperative Ministry is in need of cash donations, paper products, and non-perishable food items like canned and boxed foods.

 

Sophomores – Remember to take your coats with you to lunch.  You will definitely need them for the CTC tour while going from building to building.

Challenge of the Week – “Smile and say Thank You to your bus driver each day this week."

 

All 10th graders will be going on a tour of the Career Tech Center in Cadillac in the afternoon.  Students will be dismissed for lunch at 11:40 and need to be in the lobby to get on the busses at noon.  We will return to school about 3:00pm.

 

JUNIORS – The Discover Scholarship Program awards diverse high school juniors on their exemplary achievements in Leadership and Community Service while overcoming obstacles.  Applications for the scholarship program are available at www.discoverfinancial.com/community.  The application deadline is January 31, 2009.

 

 

SPORTS

Freshman Boys Basketball – Home – Farwell – 4:15pm

 

JV & Varsity Girls Basketball – Away – Evart – 6:00pm – Bus departs 4:30pm

 

Caberfae red cards are now on sale.  Cost is $1.00.  See Ms. Gilson before school or during your lunch break.

 

The athletic department has Lake City Trojan lanyards for sale.  Cost is $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00.  See Mr. Peterson or Ms. Gilson.
