Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Cortney Quist.

 

If you didn’t get a chance yesterday to fill out a MatchMaker form, please see Mr. Thom before you leave today.

 

There will be a Black Light Dance tonight after the basketball game!  The dance will start after the game and end at 11:00 p.m.  Wear light colored clothing!  Cost is $5. You must register your guest in the office by 3:30 p.m. today.  Same rules apply.  Your guest must be under the age of 20.

 

The student council is putting on a talent show Saturday, February 7.  If you would like to participate pick up a form from the wall pocket outside the office and return the completed form to

Mrs. VanderBrook or Mr. Thom by Friday, January 23.

There will be a YAC meeting on Monday, January 19 at 7:30 a.m. in the foods room to go over grant applications.

Mrs. Richardson for information.  Baker College will be offering FAFSA assistance on Sunday,  February 8 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the learning center.  Bring your tax information with you.

Tomorrow is a half day of school with the high school dismissing at 11:40 a.m.

 

Class meetings are scheduled today to distribute second semester schedules.  Students will be dismissed at 3:05 to go to the following locations: 

 

9th  grade – gym/north end

10th grade – auditorium

11th grade – gym/south end

12th grade – library

SENIORS – If you haven’t already seen Ms. Gilson to confirm your legal name for your diploma, do so asap!  This information must be submitted to Jostens by January 16, so it is important that you see her this week before school, after school, or during lunch.

 

Exam exemption applications must be returned to the office no later than 3:30 p.m. today! 

Late applications will not be accepted. 

 

There will be a Black Light Dance this Friday after the basketball game!  Start time is after the game is finished, and the dance ends at 11:00 p.m.  Wear light colored clothing so the lights can work their magic!  Cost to get in is $5.

 

Science tutoring is scheduled after school today in Mrs. Clous’ room.

 

Social Studies tutoring is scheduled after school today in Mr. Nederhood’s room.
