Attention Teacher Academy students - remember to meet in Mrs. Hejnal’s office today during lunch. Pick up your lunch and head down. Your time sheets must be turned it to the office today!

 

We will be taking spirit points differently this year. Instead of it based on what grade you are in today, it will be what year you should be graduating. Please check Mr. Thom’s window and let him know if you are on the wrong list.

 

Attention Class of 2018 – Jostens will be in the library media center during lunch today for orders. 

 

Lake City NHS will be sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, October 5. If you are 16 or older, please consider donating. You donation can save up to three people.

 

Freshmen - anyone interested in starting to plan the float building, please meet in Mrs. Peterson’s room at lunch today.  Officers are expected to attend.  Voting for your homecoming representatives will take place Monday morning in Mr. Thom’s room. Stop in before school and cast your vote. If you forget, you will also have a chance during first hour. Sophomores will be Tuesday, juniors on Wednesday, and seniors on Thursday.

 

Mrs. Thom will have tutoring today after school from 3:20 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Seniors - your Yankee Candle fundraisers are due today!  Turn in orders to Mr. Bongard or

Mrs. Clous.  Also, if you have any float building ideas, please come to Mrs. Clous’ room during lunch to start planning.

 

Any girls signed up to play in the homecoming powder puff game, please come to a short meeting during lunch today in Bongard’s room. We will be going over rules and picking team captains and coaches.

 

This year a new dance guest pass form is required for any guest coming to a Lake City high school dance who is not a student of Lake City. Forms are available in the office.  Completed forms must be turned in to the office at least two days before the dance.

A representative from Central Michigan University will be in the library Wednesday, September 30 at 1:30 p.m.  If you are interested in meeting with the representative, please sign up in the office.

Students will be dismissing in small groups throughout the morning for school pictures in the auditorium.  Afternoon CTC students make sure you have your picture taken before you leave!

 

Attention Teacher Academy students - just a reminder to meet in Mrs. Hejnal's office during lunch tomorrow. Get your lunch first, and then head down. If you are still missing any forms, please get them to Mrs. Richardson or Mrs. Hejnal ASAP! Please remember that your time sheets must be turned it to the office at the end of each week!

School pictures are scheduled for tomorrow.  Students will be dismissed in small groups throughout the morning.  Afternoon CTC students make sure you have your picture taken before you leave!

 

Sophomores – the Josten reps will be here this Friday to take class ring orders.  See them during lunch in the library.

 

Any girls wanting to play in a powder puff football game during homecoming week, you must sign up today, it is your last chance!

Freshmen - we are doing the 50/50 raffle at the JV Football game Thursday.  We need 2 to 4 of you to help out.  Please see Mrs. Peterson or Mrs. Atkins ASAP if you are able to help.  Also, don’t forget your $5 class dues need to be paid to your advisors Mrs. Atkins or Mrs. Peterson, or to your class treasurer, Hannah Laskowski.

 

Math tutoring is scheduled after school today in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room.

There will be a Jostens meeting for sophomores 2nd hour in the auditorium Tuesday, September 22 regarding class rings. 

 

Any girls wanting to play in a powder puff football game during homecoming week, please sign up in Mr. Bongard’s room by Wednesday!

 

Freshmen class officers - please grab your lunch and then go directly to Mrs. Peterson’s room today.

After school dance classes are available in the auditorium on Tuesdays.  There is Adult Intermediate Tap at 4:00 p.m. and Jazz/Hip Hop at 4:30 p.m.  All classes are half hour. There is a $12 registration fee for the school year and $8 a class. Discounts are offered for monthly payments and multi-family.

A concert will be held in May featuring all the dancers.  If interested, contact Mary at 824-6592 or sign up on the day of the class. If you are not sure, stop in and watch the class.
