JUNIORS – turn in your pizza sales forms and money to Mrs. Phillips or Ms. Bernier by Tuesday, October 6.  Until then - sell, sell, sell!!

 

NHS applicants:  The essay portion of the application process will take place Tuesday morning in Ms. Bernier's room.  It will start at 7:30 a.m.  Please bring a pen or pencil.  Applicants who are in calculus should plan on writing their essay after school on Tuesday.  See Ms. Bernier if you have any questions.

SOPHOMORES – Jostens will be here on Wednesday, October 7 during lunch to take your class ring order.  You must have a $50.00 deposit and your completed order form.  Extra information packets are in the office.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

All 10th and 11th grade students interested in taking the PSAT need to sign up in the office today.  You do not have to pay today – so get signed up! The test will be given in the auditorium on the morning of Wednesday, October 14.  There is a cost of $14 for the test.  Give payment to Ms Gilson as soon as possible - checks need to be made out to LCHS. See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.

 

Juniors and Seniors – we have several college reps coming in within the next couple of weeks.  Pay attention to announcements and sign up in the office to meet with them.

 

Juniors and Seniors - Cadillac High School’s annual College Fair is Wednesday, October. 14, starting at 6:30 p.m. in their auxiliary gymnasium.

Senior Girls – Michigan’s Junior Miss Scholarship Program will be having an Orientation Meeting in Bay City, this Sunday, Oct. 4^th at 1:30.  See Mrs. Richardson for more info or go to www.ajm.org.

CONGRATULATIONS to student of the week – Nick Crane.

 

There will be tutoring after school today and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in room 11.

 

SENIORS – Mrs. Getty will be in the lobby at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday to collect class dues.

 

FRESHMAN – class meeting first hour Wednesday, September 30.  Report to class for attendance and then

go to the gym.

 

SOPHOMORES – don’t forget to pay your dues.  Not many have paid and dues are needed from anyone planning on going on the senior trip.  Also – we won best entry in the Festival of the Pines parade!  Way to go all of you that helped.
