CONGRATULATIONS to student of the week – Nick Crane.

 

There will be tutoring after school today and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in room 11.

 

SENIORS – Mrs. Getty will be in the lobby at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday to collect class dues.

 

FRESHMAN – class meeting first hour Wednesday, September 30.  Report to class for attendance and then

go to the gym.

 

SOPHOMORES – don’t forget to pay your dues.  Not many have paid and dues are needed from anyone planning on going on the senior trip.  Also – we won best entry in the Festival of the Pines parade!  Way to go all of you that helped.

 

SOPHOMORES – we need ticket takers for this Thursday’s JV football game.  Some of you who have not been helping please sign up with Mrs. Atkins or Mrs. Peterson. 

 

SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS – Mrs. Peterson needs you today.  Take your thank you notes!

 

JUNIORS AND SENIORS – the following colleges will be here next week:  Alma College on

October 5, Ferris State University on October 6, and Lake Superior State University on October 8.  Sign up in the high school office if you are interested in meeting with any of these reps.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

All 10th and 11th grade students interested in taking the PSAT need to sign up in the office by Friday,

October 2.  The test will be given in the auditorium on the morning of Wednesday, October 14.  There is a cost of $14 for the test.  Give payment to Ms Gilson as soon as possible - checks need to be made out to LCHS. See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.

Varsity Cross Country Highland Jamboree @ McBain – 4:30 p.m. – bus - 3:15 p.m. – dismissal at 3:00 p.m.

9th Grade Volleyball – Home vs Manistee and Pine River – 4:15 p.m.
