SENIORS - during MME testing next week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), you will not have access to your lockers after 8:10 a.m. until testing is done. You will need to take all of your things with you on Tuesday through 5th hour.

FRESHMEN - pizza money/orders are to be turned in today - no later than Monday.

Baker College has openings for the Segment 1 driver education class. Registration forms are in the wall pocket outside the office - or see Mr. Yeomans at lunch.

The Go To Team will meet today during lunch in room #11. Please have some of the work done that you were assigned, and bring the information with you.

This is a $500 cash award that also awards paid leadership training, and college prep assistance. It is for juniors who are college bound, have a strong record of community services, show strong commitment to academic studies, are a self-starter, show passion and commitment to their interests, and show financial and/or personal need. ATHLETICS

Anyone planning to play baseball this spring - meet in the auditorium today at noon.

Any student interested in participating in golf this spring - you must sign up in the office by the end of the day today.

JUNIORS – we will be meeting after school today at 3:30 in Mrs. Phillips’ room to make final decisions on prom decorations.

Thanks to all the staff and students who made yesterday’s blood drive a success – whether you volunteered, donated, or were just tolerant of having students miss part of class.  The day went well.  A special thanks to those who donated or attempted to donate.  LCHS met its goal of 41 pints.

Forensics Results

This past weekend the Forensics team traveled to Frankenmuth high school to compete in the Frankenmuth Invite.  Tournament finalists for Lake City include Jake Vanduinen with a first place in dramatic interpretation, Ryan King and Sam Snyder with a fourth place in duo, and the multiple of Maelynn Gallop, Ethan Hinkston, Kathy Hanson, Chelsie Crane, Megan Eising, Brooke Rosekrans, and Jessica Miller with a third place.  The team also walked away with it's first overall trophy… First place for medium schools!

Great Job and congratulations all who competed!

Band festival is TODAY!  Band members are to be dismissed from class at 1:15 to go directly to the band room.  Percussionists will be dismissed at 1:00.  The bus leaves at 1:45.
