Anyone interested in running for Student Council next year, please see Mr. Thom ASAP. Applications are due today by 3:30 p.m.

 

School is closed Monday, May 25 to observe Memorial Day and will resume Tuesday, May 26.

 

Graduation ceremony starts at 7:00 p.m. this evening in the high school gymnasium.

 

If you are junior who attends afternoon CTC and want information about yesterday’s class meeting,   see Mrs. Clous or Mr. Bongard.

JV baseball at Houghton Lake, dismiss at 3:00 p.m., bus departs 3:15 p.m., game starts at 4:30 p.m.

As the warm weather approaches please remember proper dress attire.  Students are expected to wear clothing, which in the opinion of the administration is appropriate, and not distractive to the learning process.  Non-appropriate attire includes, but is not limited to, halter/tank tops, midriff shirts,  sheer or otherwise revealing clothing, miniskirts, shorts that are shorter than fingertip length, and clothing promoting drugs, smoking, drinking, profanities, obscenities, or illegal activities.

The high school is joining with the elementary to raise funds for the American Cancer Society by participating in the Mini Relay for Life.  This event will be held Monday, June 1 during 7th hour.   The Go To Team is sponsoring a 7th hour class competition to see which class can raise the most money based on percentages, not just money totals. Bring in any extra change to fill a jug!  The winning class will join the elementary in walking in the Mini Relay for Life and be treated to ICE CREAM!

Varsity baseball/softball – you will not play the Beal City make-up games today.

 

Varsity baseball will practice from 4:30-6:30 at the field.
