FROM THE PRINCIPAL – there has been way too much trash and food in the hallways.  If you do not clean up your mess, there will be no food allowed out of the cafeteria.

 

Go To Team, Student Council or NHS members who would like to go to the LEAD Conference on Wednesday,

December 16 in Cadillac, must pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Richardson and have it turned in by Thursday, December 10.  The cost is $15.00  Make checks payable to LCHS.

 

GO TO TEAM - we will meet today during lunch and then on Tuesday during 3rd hour in the auditorium

 

A student has lost their class ring.  If you have it or find one please bring it to the office as soon as possible.

 

VARSITY CLUB – there will be a meeting on Monday, December 7 at 12:15 in the auditorium.

 

SENIORS – your dues are to be paid in full by December 18 if want to participate in the senior trip process (location discussion, voting, attending).

 

Information concerning visitation/funeral times for Alec is available in the office.  You may stop in and pick up this information during lunch today.

 

Mid-Michigan Community College will visit LCHS on December 9.  Sign up in the office if you would like to meet with the representative.

 

NHS will begin recycling plastic water/juice bottles.  There will be a can near the lobby and one near Ms. Bernier’s room.  Look for them and use them correctly.

 

The Missaukee County Road Commission is reminding us that snow plows are on the roads many mornings at the same time busses are picking up students.  Make sure you wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus comes to a complete stop.

 

JUNIORS – we are looking for four people to take tickets at each of the home boys’ basketball games.  The season kicks off next week.  Please see Mrs. Phillips or Ms. Bernier if you’re able to work the freshmen game after school next Wednesday or the JV/Varsity game next Thursday night.

 

Jostens will deliver class rings on December 8.

 

Caberfae Peaks Community Red Cards are available for $1.00 each.  Red cards offer discounts on lift tickets and ski or board rentals.  If you would like to purchase a red card see Ms. Gilson before school, during your lunch break, or after school.

 

Trojan-wear will be on sale through today.  Extra order forms are in the information center outside Mrs. Richardson’s office.  Get some “red and black” to wear and support LCHS!  Items are great Christmas gifts.

STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS ONLY – meet in Mrs. Richardson’s office today during lunch at 12:15 for a short meeting.

 

A student has lost their class ring.  If you have it or find one please bring it to the office as soon as possible.

SOPHOMORES – you were wonderful in supporting each other yesterday!  If you are interested in donating money to a collection for Alec please give money to Mrs. Peterson or Mrs. Atkins.  We plan to get a plant arrangement for the Ash family and with any extra money, give a donation or special gift.  We will also be sending a card.  More information on that later.

 

The 2009 yearbooks are in.  They will be delivered 7th hour today.  There is a limited number of extra books available for $45.  You may purchase a yearbook from Mrs. Atkins tomorrow.

STUDENT COUNCIL members – anyone who is at all able to, needs to meet at Mrs. Richardson’s office immediately after school today to go shopping for HOOPS at Pamida.  It should only take about one-half hour.

 

There will be an NHS meeting in or near Ms. Bernier’s room on Thursday at 12:20.
