Seniors - your yearbook quote will be due by Friday, October 31 to either Mrs. Atkins or Joe.  Also, keep in mind that your baby picture is due at the end of November, and your senior picture by Christmas.  Any questions, see Mrs. Atkins.

 

If you plan on seeing the Mobile Dentist, your form must be turned in to the office today. 

 

If you had your picture take by Lifetouch, but did not received a student ID, please let the office know.

 

Science tutoring is scheduled today with Mrs. Thom from 3:20-4:00 p.m.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

Juniors and seniors – Grand Valley will be here Wednesday, October 15 at 1:15.  If you would like to see the rep, sign up in the office at before school, after school, or during lunch.

 

Seniors – scholarship information is rolling in and college reps are coming to visit.  Be sure to check announcements and the Counselor’s Corner on the school website REGULARLY!

 

ATHLETICS

 

Varsity football at Beal City, bus departs at 4:40 p.m., game starts at 7:00 p.m.

 

Saturday – Varsity/JV volleyball at Mancelona, invite starts at 9:00 a.m.

 

FALL ATHLETES: the Boosters’ Bear Claw Bag sale order forms and money are to be turned in to Ms. Gilson by 3:30 today. 

 

Parents’ night for the varsity football and cheer teams is scheduled for Friday, October 17 (next Friday).  You must register your parents with Ms. Gilson by Thursday, October 16.

SENIORS – Jostens will be here today during lunch to take your orders.  You will need at least a $50 deposit.  See Ms. Gilson if you have questions.

 

Math tutoring is scheduled today after school in Mr. Bongard’s room.

Congratulations to the following students for being accepted to the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC):  Erin McGiness, Hannah Edwards , Laraiah Schichtel, Nina Iverson, Ranessa Cooley, Alexis Potter, Jimmy Young, Maddie Pedlar, Taelee Winkelman, Evan Eising, and Olivia Emond.  The next YAC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14 at 7:45 a.m. in the food’s room (room 13).
