Don’t forget that yearbooks are still on sale.  Cost is $35.00.  You may pay in full or pay a $20.00 deposit.  All money is due by Friday, May 8.  See Mrs. Atkins or Joe Liestenfeltz if you have questions.

 

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Hollie Eising.

 

Today is the last day to purchase prom tickets.  After-prom permission slips must be turned in to the drop-off box in office by 3:30 p.m. today!

 

Juniors - we will be meeting at Fox Hill today at 4:30 p.m. to decorate for prom.  Your help is greatly appreciated and may be rewarded with pizza.  Any questions, see Mrs. Clous or Mr. Bongard.

 

Science tutoring is scheduled for today in Mrs. Thom’s room after school.

CTC students may purchase tickets from Mrs. Clous before or after school.  If you plan to bring a guest that is not a Lake City student, you will need to register that person in the high school office by 3:30 p.m. today!  After-prom permission slips must be turned in to the drop-off box in office by 3:30 p.m. tomorrow!

 

Juniors - if you are interested in helping with prom decorations, you can help during lunch or after school any day this week.

There is a short meeting today at 12:10 in the auditorium for all boys interested in playing basketball next year.

 

Due to a scheduling conflict, Mrs. Thom’s Friday tutoring session has been rescheduled for today after school.

Michigan Works along with Baker College, will be hosting a Community Career Expo at the college on Thursday, April 23 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm!

 

See Mrs. Richardson right away if you plan to attend the annual LEAD Conference this Thursday.

ATHLETES - sports pictures will be taken in the gym today.  You are to change into your uniform as soon as school is out.  Stay with your coach/team.

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING  – Algebra in Mrs. Peterson’s and Mrs. VanderBrook’s rooms, and English in Ms. Bernier’s room.

 

JUNIORS: please be sure to bring a writing instrument, something to read, or coursework to each day of

M-Step testing in case you get done early.  We will not release a session until everyone is done so it is imperative you have something to do after you finish testing.

There will be a presentation by the State of Michigan’s OK2SAY program tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the middle school gymnasium.  This is about cyber-bullying and safety.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.

There is going to be a Lake City variety show for K-12 students and staff.  School appropriate acts should be three minutes in length.  The show will be Saturday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m.  If you are interested in participating there is a sign-up sheet in the high school office.  Help is also needed for backstage. If you would like to be part of the show but don’t want to perform on stage, or have any questions, please contact Ms. Porter at 839-7163.
