The High School Library will be closing on Wednesday, June 1.  Books need to be returned to the library by Friday, June 3 at the latest.

 

Honor Roll Day permission slips are due Wednesday, June 1.  Please return yours ASAP to

Mrs. Peterson, or see her if you need one.

 

Exam exemption forms are available in the office. 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                                

 

Juniors – you are invited on a college campus visit and tour to Ferris State University.  This is a great opportunity to check out a college campus and get information on preparing to go to college.  We will be taking a bus down on Wednesday, June 8.  You will be gone most of the day and it will be school excused.  There will be a presentation from admissions, a walking tour of campus, and a complimentary lunch in one of their dining halls.  If you are interested in going, sign up in the office. There are also permission slips that you need to get signed and return.  A link to register for the tour with Ferris will be emailed to you and that needs to be completed before you go.  Please see

If you are a female going into 9^th – 11^th grade, and interested in Engineering, Wolverine Cooperative was awarded a full scholarship to give away to a student who wants to attend Michigan Technological University’s summer “Women in Engineering” camp that takes place the 3^rd week in June.  To apply for the camp and to be able to attend all expenses paid, see Mrs. Richardson ASAP.

 

Summer Credit Recovery forms are available in the office.  If you need to make up a class, pick up a form and get it turned in to the office by Friday, June 10.  The session will run on school days from June 16-28 from 8:30–2:30 each day.  See the form for more information.

Any student interested in running for Student Council… please see Mr. Thom.

 

Juniors:  If you received 7 or more Spirit points this year, please report to Mr. Thom’s room at the beginning of 4^th hour today for information about the Spirit Trip.  Student Council members should also attend.

 

Lake City Equestrian team sign-ups will be May 23-27^th.  The senior team consists of anyone who is currently in 9^th through 11^th grade.  The first meeting will be Saturday, May 28^th.  There is a sign- up sheet in the office along with an information sheet in joining the team.
