Congratulations to Katlyn Stoll – our Student of the Week.

 

There is a senior trip meeting in Mr. Bongard’s room at lunch, please plan to attend.

 

Tutoring is scheduled today after school in Mrs. Thom’s room from 3:20-4:00 p.m.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                                

 

Baker College of Cadillac is hosting College Goal Sunday, February 14, from 2-4 p.m. for families who would like assistance completing their 16-17 FAFSA. 

 

The University of Northwestern Ohio will be here Monday, February 1 at 9:00 in the library.  This is a technical college specializing in diesel and high performance engines. 

 

ATHLETICS

 

Boys JV/Varsity vs Pine River, home, game starts at 6:00 p.m.

Girls JV/Varsity at NMC, bus departs at 5:00 p.m., game starts at 6:00 p.m.

Congratulations to Katlyn Stoll – our Student of the Week.

 

Seniors going on the senior trip - your advisors will be holding a meeting tomorrow during lunch.

 

Sophomore class officers have a short meeting in the library at lunch today. 

 

Freshmen who have paid their dues need to see Mrs. Peterson, if they have not already done so.  Those who still need to pay their $5 dues, please do so as soon as possible.  Next year dues will be $10 and must be paid to go on the senior trip.  Also, freshmen will be doing the 50/50 raffle this Thursday, and next Friday, during the basketball games.  Please sign up with Mrs. Atkins or

Mrs. Peterson if you can help sell raffle tickets.

 

Please come to the bond rally tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the high school gym to support our school!

10th and 11th grade girls – the annual Careers for Women Conference, put on by CTC, will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at the Fox Hill Event Center.  We will ride the CTC bus over and back and lunch will be provided.  If you are interested in attending, please sign up by Wednesday, February 3 in the office.  There is a limit of 20 who can attend.  See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.  There will be some great speakers!

 

Seniors - remember that you should be working on your scholarship applications. Scholarships and FAFSA may be found on the website.  Many scholarship apps are due by February 1st and the FAFSA is due by March 1st.

Mrs. Clous’ biology tutoring is scheduled after school today.  Mrs. VanderBrook will not have tutoring after school today.

If you are considering making schedule changes, check one of the posted master schedules to see if your changes are possible.  Many classes are full and options for changing are limited.  If you want to make a change, fill out the yellow form that is in the office and turn it in to Mrs. Richardson.  Change requests will be taken until the end of the day tomorrow.
