Seniors –   If you are on or would like to be on the Halloween Dance Committee there is a meeting today, at 12:01 p.m. in Ms. Morse’s room.  Please grab your lunch and come on down!

 

Varsity Football Players - please come to the library at lunch to get your playoff pictures taken.  Pictures will be taken through today.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER  “Do not condemn the judgment of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong”. ~ Dandemis   Grace Bible College will be here to visit on Tuesday, October 16.  There is a sign up sheet in the office.  You may sign up before or after school or during lunch.   The PSAT will be given on the morning of Wednesday, October 17, in the auditorium.  This is open to any 10th or 1th grader who wishes to take it.  The cost is $15 to be paid to Ms. Gilson by the end of the test.  You have until the end of the day today to sign up in the office.  If you want to take the test, but can’t pay right away or have any other questions, see Mrs. Richardson.   ATHLETICS   Varsity Football @ Manton, bus departs at 5:15 p.m., game starts at 7:00 p.m. Saturday – Varsity Cross Country @ Ogemaw Heights, invite starts at 11:00 a.m.   We will be taking orders for football playoff shirts through October 17.  Pick up an order form from the athletic wall pocket.  All orders are due to Ms. Gilson by Wednesday, October 17.   Athletes – the Bear Claw Bag orders will be delivered today.  You must pick up your order after school today from the concession stand.

Seniors – a Jostens rep will be here today to take your orders for graduation announcements and other senior items.  He will be set up in the library during lunch.

 

If you are a sophomore selling Yankee Candles in order to have a senior trip, be sure to collect all your money when you sell the product. The orders cannot be made without money in hand.

Math tutoring is scheduled for today in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER  A representative from the Marines will be here Friday, October 12, during lunch in the lobby.   The Wexford-Missaukee Career Tech Center will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, October 17, from 6-8 p.m.  There will be door prizes and refreshments.  Go and check out the wonderful programs that are available!

October 18 is a half-day of school due to parent-teacher conferences.  There will still be CTC in the afternoon and the bus will run its regularly scheduled time.  CTC students – you must make arrangements to have your parents pick you up when the bus returns to school.

Cadillac High School will be hosting their Annual College Night Program for juniors and seniors Thursday, October 11 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the auxiliary gymnasium.  Many college representatives will be there to talk to and provide you with information.
