NHSers – there is an opportunity for service hours at the library this Saturday (tomorrow). See Ms. Bernier ASAP if you are interested.
Congratulations to Aric Rhodes – our Student of the Week.
Lake City High School’s First Annual Super Awesome Fun Night is TONIGHT from 6-10:00 p.m. There will be games, movies, video games, art projects, basketball, volleyball, snacks, and hanging out. We also run a scavenger hunt (through-out the high school) with prizes awarded, and a dance at 9:30 in the gym. The cost is $2.00 and proceeds will go to the Challenge Day fund for next year. Come join everyone for a great time!
There will be a prom/homecoming dress sale after school on Friday until 6:00 p.m. in room 11. If you have a dress you would like to donate to help raise money for Challenge Day next year, bring it to Mrs. Richardson by Friday. Dresses will be sold for $5 to $10 so come check them out and get a dress at a very reasonable cost. Other items will be given away.
GOVERNMENT AND ECON STUDENTS – if you are attending the Governor’s Breakfast on March 24 you need to give your permission slip to Ms. Gilson by March 23. Remember to dress appropriately – no jeans or t-shirts. The bus will leave the school at 7:25 a.m. MORNING CTC students attending the breakfast will be dropped off at CTC.
SENIORS – the deadline for turning in your senior picture, baby picture, and quote is March 24. If you would like to see any of these things in the yearbook, get them to Mrs. Atkins, Caelan, or Brandee.
The 2010 yearbook is now on sale – cost is $35. You may pay $20 now and $15 at the end of the school year. All checks are to be payable to Lake City Yearbook. See Mrs. Atkins to order. Also, you may go to www.jostensyearbooks.com to order your book. Different pages will be posted outside Mrs. Atkins’ window in the coming weeks – check it out if you would like to see what pages you and your friends are on.
