Seniors - we will be float building at the Trolz house this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. and next week Tuesday through Friday from 3:45 until 7ish.  Please come help!  Also, please sign up in Ms. Bernier's room to help out with Powderpuff football.

The senior class will be holding a fundraiser night at Culver's in Cadillac on Monday, September 12 from 5-8 p.m.  Please join us for dinner or custard - they will be donating 10% of dining room profits to the Class of 2017.

Sophomore 50/50 ticket takers – check with either Mrs. Atkins or Braden about taking tickets tonight.

 

Sophomores – float building will take place at Ardis Dairy on the next two Sundays from 10-4.  Check with Mrs. Atkins for the supplies list.  We can’t wait to see you there!

 

The Athletic Booster Tailgate Event is tonight from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lake City Athletic Complex.  They will be serving pulled pork, baked beans, and potato salad for $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family.  Proceeds support the Lake City Athletic Boosters.  Take-out orders available. 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                                

 

Northern Michigan University and Saginaw Valley State University will both be here on Thursday, September 15.  Saginaw Valley will be here at 8:30 a.m. and Northern at 1:30 p.m.  Aquinas College will also be here Friday, September 16 at 1:30 p.m. All college representatives will meet with students in the library.  Sign-up in the office if you are interested before school, after school, or during lunch.

Freshmen - there is a float building meeting in the library during lunch today.  Please eat your lunch in the cafeteria and then join Mrs. Scott in the library to discuss float building plans and meeting dates.  All freshmen are encouraged to come.

 

Sophomore officers – please meet in Mrs. Atkins’ room at lunch today. Pick up your lunch and come on down.  Any sophomore interested in float building, please meet in Mr. Boyer’s shop today at lunch.

 

Courtesy Driving School flyers are available in the office.  Segment I starts in October and Segment II in November. 

 

The 6^th annual Athletic Booster Tailgate Event is this Friday, September 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lake City Athletic Complex.  They will be serving pulled pork, baked beans, and potato salad for $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family.  Proceeds support the Lake City Athletic Boosters.  Take-out orders will be available.

Students – if you have not had your picture taken by fourth hour, please let your teacher know.  You will be sent to the auditorium to get it taken.

 

We will be voting for Homecoming representatives this week. Good luck to all!

 

Freshmen interested in running for Student Council should pick up a form from Mr. Thom in room 18.

There is a meeting during lunch today in Mr. Bongard’s room for girls who have signed up to play in the Powder Puff game.
