GENERAL

1.  You can still sign up for After Prom.  See Shonta Turman for a contract.  The cost is $10.00.  If your date for Prom is not a Lake City High School student you must sign them up in the office.  The sign-up sheet is on the counter. 

2.  NHS meeting TODAY at 3:10 in Ms. Bernier's room.  There have been changes and additions to the Timberwolf event that we need to discuss.

3.  Have you ever dreamed of being a firefighter?  The Lake Missaukee Fire Explorers would like to announce that they will be recruiting.  The explorers would like to show you what they do and what the benefits are in the program.  The meeting will be in the auditorium on Tuesday, April 28 at 4:00pm.  Ages 14-21 are welcome.  If you have any questions please find Natasha or Chelsea Murray for more details.

4.  The Kiwanis Summer Swim Program is looking for a Lifeguard for 6 weeks during July and August.  You must be certified and pay is dependent on experience.  If you are interested, contact Charlie Parsons at 839-2266.

5.  Permission slips for the spirt trip need to be turned in by 3:30 Thursday, April 30th.  No exceptions!!!!!!!  If it is not turned in by then you will not be going.  Turn it in early in case you are absent next Thursday.

2.  Summer Camps:  CTC has FREE summer camps available for current 9th graders in Computers, Mechanics, Electronics, Health, Welding, Metal Working, Floral Design and Culinary.   See Mrs. Richardson for information!

3.  Ferris College of Engineering Technology will be holding an Open House on Saturday, April 25th, from 9am – 1pm.  Pre-registration is required for this FREE event at www.ferris.edu/technology.  This is a good opportunity to learn about the programs in Engineering Tech and exciting career opportunities.

4.  If any Senior is considering going to Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, see Mrs. Richardson for a scholarship opportunity.

GENERAL

1.  Today at lunch is the LAST opportunity to buy a Prom or After-Prom ticket.  If your date for Prom is not a Lake City High School student you must sign them up in the office.  The sign-up sheet is on the counter. 

2.  Attention Seniors – There is a very important senior trip meeting today at lunch in Mr. Bongard’s room.  If you plan on going on the senior trip you MUST be there.

3.  Have you ever dreamed of being a firefighter?  The Lake Missaukee Fire Explorers would like to announce that they will be recruiting.  The explorers would like to show you what they do and what the benefits are in the program.  The meeting will be in the auditorium on Tuesday, April 28 at 4:00pm.  Ages 14-21 are welcome.  If you have any questions please find Natasha or Chelsea Murray for more details.

Due to a scheduling conflict in Kingsley, the JV Softball game scheduled to be here tomorrow will be played in Kingsley along with the Varsity Baseball & Varsity Softball games.  The JV Baseball game will be played in Lake City.

2.  Attention all students!  Today is your last chance to purchase a yearbook and you don’t want to miss out.  The cost is $40.00, pay $20.00 now and the rest later.  This is your last chance.  Lists of the yearbook staff members are posted throughout the hallway.  Please order from one of them.

5.  Freshmen - A HUGE thank you goes out to all of you who helped with the pop can/bottle drive on Saturday.  We made a lot of money in a short time.  Way to go!!  Also, freshmen who have not paid their $5 dues for this year please do so as soon as possible.  FYI - Next year sophomore dues will be $10.
