YACsters –remember there is a meeting at 12:10 today in Ms. Morse’s room.  We will be voting on the grant proposal – so please be prompt!

 

Congratulations to Amanda Eling-Wahr – our Student of the Week.

 

Sign up for after-prom activities during lunch this week.  After the prom join your classmates at the new YMCA for swimming, basketball, volleyball, food, and fun.  Cost is $10.00 – this includes a t-shirt and lots of memories.

 

Prom is only a month away!  Tickets will go on sale after spring break.  Prom is scheduled for Saturday,

April 24 from 8-11:30 p.m. at Fox Hill in Cadillac.  Cost is $25 per person, and tickets will include a small photo package, a jump drive with your printable photo, and your choice of approximately 20 other candid dance photos that you can download from the LifeTouch web site.

 

The 2010 yearbook is now on sale – cost is $35.  You may pay $20 now and $15 at the end of the school year.  All checks are to be payable to Lake City Yearbook.  See Mrs. Atkins to order.  Also, you may go to www.jostensyearbooks.com to order your book.  Different pages will be posted outside Mrs. Atkins’ window in the coming weeks – check it out if you would like to see what pages you and your friends are on.

We will clean out lockers TODAY during 6th hour.  Students will be dismissed to clean their lockers in this order:  9th grade 1:30-1:40, 10th grade 1:40-1:50, 11th grade 1:50-2:00, 12th grade 2:00-2:10.

Congratulations to Mrs. Atkins and all 9th graders!  Your performance on the fall MEAP test was exceptional.  Lake City scored the highest in the Wexford-Missaukee ISD and placed well-above the state average.
