Orders for the 2010-2011 yearbook will be taken starting today, November 22 through November 30.  A table will be set up in the lobby during lunch.  Cost is $35.00 – checks are to be made out to Lake City High School.  Great News!  Yearbooks will now be delivered in the spring – before graduation.  All spring pages will be delivered as an insert the following fall.  This insert will slide easy into your book.  Questions?  See Mrs. Atkins.

Starting next week the weight room will be open after school every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Athletes are encouraged to attend.

Congratulations to Ashley Goodman, our Student of the Week!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday, November 19, 2010

PROM COMMITTEE – meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Peterson’s room.

If you are wearing a hat today and did not purchase a sticker this morning you may purchase one during lunch.  Window decals and bracelets will also be available at that time for $1.00 each.

FOOTBALL PLAYERS – if you would like the photo that was posted on the bulletin board, you may pick yours up in the library.

STUDENT COUNCIL - officers will meet Tuesday at lunch in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room.

The student council canned food drive has begun, and this year it is for spirit points! The amount your class donates will decide how many spirit points your class gets. For example, if the freshman donate 72% of the total food donated, they will receive 72 spirit points. This could have a huge impact on the current standings in the race for the spirit trip this spring. Bring in your donations through next Monday to your class advisor’s room.

SENIORS - if you are planning to go on the senior trip, it is necessary that you pay your class dues before the end of the semester.  Please see Seth McGiness, Ms. Bernier, or Mrs. Phillips to see what you owe.  Get paid up before the Christmas crunch.

A silver ring with a pink stone has been lost.  It has sentimental value to the owner.  If you find this ring please turn it in to the office.  There is a potential cash reward.

Congratulations to Ashley Goodman, our student of the week!
