COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                               

 

CTC will be having their annual open house on Thursday, October 27, from 5–7 p.m. 

 

A representative from Northwestern Michigan College will be in the library on Wednesday, October 19 at 9:00 a.m.  Sign up in the office if you are interested in meeting with them.

 

 

ATHLETICS

 

Varsity Football vs Morley Stanwood, home, game starts at 7:00 p.m.

 

Saturday – Lake City JV/Varsity Volleyball Invite, home, starts at 9:00 a.m.

 

Attention - all boys in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing basketball this season, there will be an official sign-up meeting during lunch on Monday, October 17. Contact Coach Besko if you have questions. Thanks!

Students going on the CMU trip tomorrow - meet in the lobby when the morning bell rings. Be sure to dress appropriately for weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking.  We will be taking a walking tour rain or shine, so a jacket and an umbrella would be a good idea.

There is a college fair for juniors and seniors today from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Cadillac High School auxiliary gymnasium. 

 

Grand Valley State College will be here tomorrow at 8:45 and Northwestern Michigan College on Wednesday, October 19 at 9:00 a.m. in the library.  Sign up in the office.

JV Football vs Lincoln-Alcona, home, game starts at 6:30 p.m.

 

JV/Varsity Volleyball Tri at Gaylord St. Mary with Grayling, dismiss at 2, depart at 2:15, start at 4:30.

Seniors – see Jostens during lunch to today to place your graduation order.   If you are AM CTC and need to meet with Jostens, you will be dismissed at 11:30.

Seniors - Jostens will be here tomorrow during lunch to order graduation items.    

 

Seniors – there will be a senior class meeting regarding the senior trip at 3:10 today in Ms. Bernier’s room.

Jostens will be here this Wednesday, October 12, during lunch to order graduation items.  If you received a student ID, but did not receive your pictures, please stop by the office. 

Courtesy Driving School will have segment two classes starting in November.  Information is posted on the bulletin board in the lobby and flyers are available in the office.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                               

 

The Lighthouse Café in Lake City runs every 2^nd and 4^th Monday of the month.  They’re in need of 2-4 people to help them unload the truck of food from about 2-2:30 until 3:30 or if wanted, stay and help people load boxes until 5-5:30 p.m.  It is a great volunteer opportunity that will look good on scholarship applications and resume’s and is only two times per month.  If it can be worked out in your schedule to go, we will school excuse it.  We need people who will be consistent.  Please let Mrs. Richardson know asap if you are interested.
