SENIORS – if you plan on attending the Kiwanis Honors Banquet on Monday, April 23, you must let Ms. Gilson know before 3:30 this afternoon.

 

Seniors going on the senior trip – if you have not picked up your permission slip yet please see

Mrs. Peterson a.s.a.p.!  Once you have your permission slip please get it signed and return to

Mrs. Peterson right away.

 

Baker College is offering its last driver’s education class until summer.  Classes begin April 26.  Information and applications are located outside the office.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Yeomans during your lunch period or before or after school.

It is that time of the year again.  If you are a senior, please make sure you have paid all of your library fines, and returned all of your library books by May 9, or you will not receive your cap and gown.  Underclassmen – you must pay your fines and return your books by May 28, or you will not receive your final report card.

 

Students will no longer be allowed to charge lunch in the cafeteria for the rest of the school year. 

You can deposit money in your account or pay as you go.  All prior charges must be paid.

All seniors will be going to a Senior Institute at Baker College on Friday, April 27, in the morning. 

We will be taking 2 busses over and back.  This is an event being put on by CTC, Baker and many area businesses for all seniors within the ISD.  It is going to be good information for life after high school and a great morning away!  All graduating seniors will be expected to attend.  The busses will leave at 8:15 and return about 11:30 a.m. See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.

Seniors going on the senior trip – there is a mandatory meeting 6th hour for the first 5-10 minutes in

Mrs. Peterson’s room today.  Please check in with your teacher and come right down. Any CTC students that will miss this meeting need to see Mrs. Peterson before they leave today.

 

Attention all students auditioning for Senior Oscar Night - you need to have your music and act ready for auditions being held 6th hour in the gym today.  See Mrs. VanderBrook if you have any questions.

Great job prom committee!  We will have a meeting at noon today in Ms. Morse’s room to finish up a few things.  Please try to be there as close to noon as possible.  Also, nice job prom attendees.  The staff at the Eldorado was very impressed with your behavior and level of respect!  You represented Lake City well!

It is that time of the year again.  If you are a senior, please make sure you have paid all of your library fines, and returned all of your library books by May 9, or you will not receive your cap and gown.  Underclassmen – you must pay your fines and return your books by May 28, or you will not receive your final report card.

The Huron-Manistee National Forest has two summer job openings through the Youth Conservation Corps at the supervisor’s office in Cadillac.  The positions are full time, not to exceed 8 weeks, June 18 - August 10.  Applications will be accepted at the Cadillac office between April 16 and May 4.  Applications are available in Mrs. Richardson’s office.

 

JUNIORS– if you are interested in retaking the ACT, you need to register online at www.actstudent.org.  You will need the score report you just received and will use your ID number on the report to log into your account.  Retakes are June, September, October and December.  Deadlines to register are about a month before the test date and most dates use Cadillac High School as a test center.
