SENIORS – if you plan on attending the Kiwanis Honors Banquet on Monday, April 23, you must let Ms. Gilson know before 3:30 p.m. this Friday.

 

Seniors going on the senior trip – if you have not picked up your permission slip yet please see

Mrs. Peterson a.s.a.p.!  Once you have your permission slip please get it signed and return to

Mrs. Peterson right away.

 

It is that time of the year again.  If you are a senior, please make sure you have paid all of your library fines, and returned all of your library books by May 9, or you will not receive your cap and gown.  Underclassmen – you must pay your fines and return your books by May 28, or you will not receive your final report card.

 

Students will no longer be allowed to charge lunch in the cafeteria for the rest of the school year. 

You can deposit money in your account or pay as you go.  All prior charges must be paid.

 

Baker College is offering its last driver’s education class until summer.  Classes begin April 26.  Information and applications are located outside the office.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Yeomans during your lunch period or before or after school.

 

Math tutoring today will be with Mr. Bongard.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

All seniors will be going to a Senior Institute at Baker College on Friday, April 27, in the morning. 

We will be taking 2 busses over and back.  This is an event being put on by CTC, Baker and many area businesses for all seniors within the ISD.  It is going to be good information for life after high school and a great morning away!  All graduating seniors will be expected to attend.  The busses will leave at 8:15 and return about 11:30 a.m. See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions. 

 

Seniors - Michigan Institute of Aviation and Technology is hosting their 7th Annual Career Expo on Tuesday, May 8, from noon to 5pm in Canton Michigan.  They will be recruiting for many positions.  For more info call 1-800-447-1310 or visit www.miat.edu.

 

ATHLETICS

 

Boys/Girls Varsity Track @ Benzie Central, dismissal time 12:45 p.m., bus departs at 1:00 p.m., invite starts at 4:00 p.m.

Boys Varsity Golf vs Mancelona, home, match starts at 4:30 p.m.

Girls JV Softball vs Houghton Lake, home, game starts at 4:30 p.m.

 

ATHLETES - remember that your trash bag orders and money are due to Ms. Gilson by 3:30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday).
