Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Nina Iverson.

 

SENIORS – pictures for the graduate composite will be taken this morning in the auditorium.  You will be dismissed a few at a time throughout the morning. 

 

The 2014 Mr. Lake City contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m.  If you are a junior or senior interested in participating, sign-up in the high school office and pick up an information packet.  There is a limit of twelve contestants, so the first twelve to sign up will be given the opportunity to participate.  Completed information packets are due to the office tomorrow.

 

The yearbook is now on sale until February 28 through Mrs. Atkins.  The cost is $35.  You may pay $20 now and $15 when they arrive in May.  This will be an interactive book with videos embedded.  We will not be ordering extra, so this will be your one and only chance to purchase the book. 

 

Tutoring is scheduled today in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room after school from 4-4:30.

 

Courtesy Driving School is offering segment I classes beginning Monday, March 10 thru March 26.  You must be 14 years and 8 months the first day of class.  Total cost of class is $245.  A segment II class also begins March 10, cost is $30.    Information can be found in the wall pocket outside the high school office.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

Seniors – the FAFSA deadline is Saturday, March 1 for the first round of financial aid for the 2014-2015 school year.  Be sure to get it submitted by the 1^st!

 

ATHLETICS

 

JV/Varsity boys basketball @ Pine River, bus departs at 4:30 p.m., game starts at 6:00 p.m.

 

Cadillac Blue and Gold Baseball will hold tryouts for travel baseball on February 23 from

1:30–3:00 p.m. at the Cadillac School varsity gym.  Registration information is located in the athletic wall pockets

 

There will be a short meeting for students interested in going out for golf this spring on Tuesday, February 25 at 12:10 in the auditorium.  It is important that you attend if you are interested.

 

VARSITY CHEERLEADERS – tomorrow is parents’ night. Stop by Ms. Gilson’s door today before school, after school or during lunch to register your parents.

 

CABERFAE DISCOUNT RED CARDS – red cards are now on sale for $1.00 each.  You may purchase in the high school office.
