GENERAL

Attention Seniors – The graduation walking partners sheet has been posted on the counter in the office.  Deadline is Friday, 5/9.  If you do not sign up with a partner, one will be chosen for you.

 

Attention All Students – The end of the year is fast approaching and in order to have all financial issues taken care of by that time charges will no longer be allowed in the cafeteria.

 

Attention 9th through 11th graders – You have a short class meeting after lunch today before 5th hour.  Please report to the following areas – Freshmen – Auditorium; Sophomores – Gym; and Juniors – Library.

 

Mobile Dentist will be here June 3 and 4.  Forms are available in the info pockets outside the office and they are due to Mrs. Holly May 12.

 

The yearbook is in need of pictures of prom.  If you have any pictures that you would like to see in the book, please give them to Larry Stone or Mrs. Atkins.  We will take them off disks or a hard copy, and return them to you as soon as possible.  Thanks.

 

Attentions Students – Courtesy Driving School will be starting class Monday, 5/12 in Lake City.  Class will end 6/2.  Information pamphlets are in the hall by the office.

 

Attentions Juniors:  The spirit trip is rapidly approaching.  Juniors that have more than 8 spirit points are eligible to go on the spirit trip.  There is a list posted outside of Mrs. VanderBrook's room.  If your name is on the list please see Mrs. VanderBrook for a permission slip.  Permission slips are due this Friday, May 9th to Mrs. VanderBrook or Mrs. Richardson.  No late permission slip will be taken.  If you think your name should be on the list see Mrs. VanderBrook.

 

Anyone interested in an amazing trip to Switzerland, Italy, and France in June 2009?  Stop in and see Ms. Bernier and pick up trip information and pricing. 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

There are still openings for the Manufacturing Tour.  The date has been changed to Monday, May 12th.  Go and check out some of our local manufacturers and the opportunities that are available at all levels.  See Mrs. Richardson to sign up.

 

Juniors:  If you want to re-take the ACT in June, the deadline to register is May 9th, this Friday.  You can register online at www.actstudent.org.  See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.  The next opportunity to retake is in September.

NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Students:  This is a reminder that you may not leave the building in the morning, during lunch, or after school to walk to McDonalds or Fosters.  The road crews have reported a few instances where some of you have put yourselves in danger by not following this request.
