GENERAL

Attention any student needing Segment 1 or Segment 2 Driver’s Education – Check the information pockets outside the high school office for information on up-coming classes offered by Baker College, Courtesy Driving School, and North Star Driving School.

 

This Thursday, 10/23 show your true colors by wearing either a University of Michigan or a Michigan State shirt.  Remember this big football game is this Saturday.

 

Freshmen - 1) Thank you to those of you who helped sell 50/50 tickets at last Friday’s football game.  Your participation is excellent.  2) Don't forget to be selling those pies.  The more you sell the more money you will have toward your senior trip!! Orders are due with the money on November 3rd!! 3)  Don’t forget to pay your dues.  Many of you have not paid yet.

 

Current NHSers and members-to-be -- There will be a meeting tomorrow, Thursday at 7:45.  It is important that you attend, as we will be discussing induction and other important items.  Breakfast will be provided.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

“Challenge of the Week” is “Write a card or letter thanking someone you love.”

 

The following college representatives are scheduled to visit LCHS:  Michigan Tech – Monday, 10/27 and Mid Michigan College – Tuesday, 10/28.  Sign up in the office if you are interested in seeing them.

 

 

SPORTS

Freshman Volleyball – Away – Manistee – 6:00pm – Bus departs 4:10

 

Classis Chevrolet and Classic Ford would like to welcome anyone who would like to participate in a tailgate party on October 24, 2008 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for the Lake City vs Pine River football game.  The tailgate party will be held at the Lake City Football field and sponsored by the Lake City Athletics Boosters and Classic Chevrolet and Classic Ford.  Hot dogs, pop, and chips will be provided to those who attend.  Let’s get behind our team and show our support for our School.

 

The athletic department has new Lake City Trojan lanyards for sale.  Cost is $3.00 or two for $5.00.  See Mr. Peterson or Ms Gilson.
