GENERAL

 “Chill Out Week” is this week.  The dress-up days are as follows to earn spirit points.

Wednesday-Villains and Super Heroes

Thursday-The Princess and the Pauper

Friday-Red, White and Black

Please keep the dress code in mind as you put your outfits together.

 

Attention student council – there is a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:40 a.m.

 

NHSers – there will be a meeting this week Thursday, February 5, at 7:47 a.m. in Mrs. Bernier’s room.

 

There will be a Varsity Club meeting Wednesday, February 4 at noon in the auditorium.

 

There will be a Junior class meeting today at 12:30 (after lunch) in the gym.

 

Seniors – If you prefer to submit a picture for the composite, the deadline is this Friday, February 6.  It must be a head & shoulder pose.  If the picture was taken by someone other than Prestige/LifeTouch it must be accompanied by a release and a $10.00 fee.

 

Prom Committee – There will be a meeting in the elementary library next Wednesday, February 11 at

4:30 p.m. to discuss after prom ideas.

 

Attention Mock Rock participants:  We will be having practice Thursday during last hour.  See Mrs. Richardson for your time slot.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

Challenge of the Week – Compliment or thank a teacher for something they have done.

 

Reminder:  Tutoring is today and Thursday in Room #11 from 3:30 – 4:30.

 

 

SPORTS

Cheer team practice will be 3:45 to 6:00 today and 3:45 to 5:00 on Wednesday.  If you cannot be at one of the practices please let your coach know.  We have games on Thursday and Friday.

 

Freshman boys basketball – Benzie Central - Away – 4:15 p.m. – Bus 2:15 p.m. – Dismiss at 2:00 p.m.

 

Boys JV/Varsity basketball – Manton – Away – 6:00 p.m. – Bus 4:45 p.m.
