GENERAL

Seniors – It is time to sign up as Graduation Walking Partners.  This will be the person you meet in the middle of the gym and walk in with not who you line up with or sit by.  Please sign up in the office.  If you do not sign up, a partner will be chosen for you.  Also, your caps & gowns will be distributed Wednesday, May 13 at lunch in the lobby.

 

NHSers -- We are looking for people to help out in the concession stand at the track meet tomorrow.  If you are able and interested, see Ms. Bernier ASAP.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

Challenge of the Week - Notice if your attitudes are lifting you up or tearing you down.

 

The Huron-Manistee National Forests will be filling 2 Youth Conservation Corps positions at the supervisor’s office in Cadillac for the summer.  Positions will be full time, not to exceed 8 weeks, June 22nd – Aug. 14th, $7.40 per hour.  Applications will be taken at the Cadillac office May 2nd – May 21st.  See Mrs. Richardson for applications.

 

Seniors who are attending Michigan State next fall, see Mrs. Richardson right away for a local scholarship application!

 

The Go To Team will be meeting on Tuesday, 5/5 during 4th hour in the Auditorium.  Check in with your teachers and try to get work ahead of time.

 

The “Be the Change Team” will be meeting on Thursday, 5/7 during lunch in the Auditorium.

NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Students – I caution you to not leave valuables in your locker or be sure to lock it.  Money has been taken from two students and people have been messing with other people’s belongings.  If you are in the hall during class time be sure to have a pass and do not ask to leave your classroom unless it is an emergency.
