STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mid-Michigan Community college will be here Thursday at 1:00 p.m.  If you are interested in meeting with the rep, sign up in the office.

 

Student council will be selling Christmas Candy Grams today, tomorrow, and Friday.  They are 50 cents each or three for $1.00.  Make someone happy and send them a special message for the holidays.

 

SOPHOMORE class officers – please meet in Mrs. Peterson’s room TODAY during lunch.

 

JUNIORS – there will be a prom meeting in Mrs. Phillips’ room during lunch on Friday at 12:10.  Grab some food and come on down.  Even if you haven’t been able to attend thus far, if you’re interested in helping out, you are invited to join us!

 

YACsters – we will have a very quick meeting at 12:20 on Thursday.

 

We will be cleaning out lockers on Monday, December 21.  The schedule is: 9th grade - 8:20-8:30,

10th grade – 8:30-8:40, 11th grade – 8:40-8:50, and 12th grade – 8:50-9:00.

 

Chill Out Week will be the first week in February consisting of spirit days, a pep assembly, Mock Rock, and a dance.  Start getting an act together for Mock Rock and begin practicing.  Entry forms will be available right after Christmas break!

 

Student athletes interested in joining varsity club must submit a completed application to Ms Gilson by 3:30 p.m. December 18.

 

The Missaukee County Road Commission is reminding us that snow plows are on the roads many mornings at the same time busses are picking up students.  Make sure you wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus comes to a complete stop.

 

Caberfae Peaks Community Red Cards are available for $1.00 each.  Red cards offer discounts on lift tickets and ski or board rentals.  If you would like to purchase a red card see Ms. Gilson before school, during your lunch break, or after school.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

Senior Financial Aid Night will be held this Wednesday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  There will be a wealth of information on scholarships and financial aid.  It will be very important for you and a parent or guardian to attend!  A reminder went home with progress reports.

 

 

ATHLETICS

 

 

 

The volleyball teams have extended their flip-flop sale through December 22.  Cost is $15.00.  Order forms are available in the athletic wall pockets.
