There will be a Go To meeting today at lunch in room 11.
If you attended prom and received a flash drive with someone else’s picture on it, please see Mrs. Phillips or Ms. Bernier. We should be able to straighten it out if people are willing to exchange, or we can contact Lifetouch for corrections. By keeping the wrong one, you might be preventing someone from being able to print his/her photos.
Congratulations to TJ Murray – our Student of the Week.
SOPHOMORES – those interested in being on the prom committee – we are meeting again this Thursday during 2nd hour in Mrs. Peterson’s room. This meeting should only last a few minutes.
Health and wellness committee members – we will be having a short meeting today at 3:30 in the library.
NHSers – there will be an NHS meeting Thursday at 12:20 in Ms. Bernier’s room. Please be on time and bring your planners.
JUNIORS CLASS OFFICERS – there will be a meeting today at lunch time. Please grab your lunch and come on down. We have a lot to cover.
SENIORS - we will take a senior class photo on Friday, May 7 at 3:05 p.m. (right after the CTC bus returns). If the weather is nice we will take the picture in front of the school, if not – meet in the gym.
The varsity club is selling Merritt Speedway tickets. Cost is $10.00 for a $15.00 ticket. See a varsity club member or stop by the high school office.
SENIORS – there is an open house sign-up list on the senior board. Please fill in the day, time, and location of your open house.
High school students are no longer be able to charge lunch in the cafeteria.
COUNSELOR’S CORNER
A sexual abuse support/recovery group for students ages 12-18 has been started in our area by Healing Private Wounds. It meets every Thursday at the Cadillac United Methodist Church from 6-8:00 p.m. All classes are confidential and free and led by trained facilitators and licensed counselors. Call Shirley at 231-429-5683 for more information or to register.
There is a social skills development group for adolescents (ages 13-18) that meets at Life Skills in Cadillac on Tuesdays from 5-30-6:30 p.m. The group focuses on many topics related to socio-interpersonal skills (anger/stress management, self control, etc.) necessary for a more successful adolescence. The Hope College Pre-Professional Day, featuring Health Sciences, Nursing, Engineering, and Law, is scheduled for

ATHLETICS
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing football in the fall on May 6 at 11:35 a.m. in the gym.
