Senior Oscar Night is scheduled for this Friday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.  The cost for admission is $3.00 per person.  Come and see the seniors receive their mock election awards and enjoy performances by your talented peers.

 

See the list outside of Mrs. Vanderbrook’s room for people that qualified for the spirit trip.  Pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Vanderbrook if you are on the list.  Permission slips are due to Mrs. Vanderbrook by lunch on Friday.  If you think you were accidently left off the list, see Mrs. Vanderbrook - and be polite about it.

 

The Huron-Manistee National Forest Service is hiring two youth workers, full time, from June 20 through August 13.  One position is clerical/office in nature and the other is forestry/field in nature.  It pays $7.40 per hour.  See Mrs. Richardson for an application.  The application must be delivered to the Cadillac office by May 21.

 

There will be a student council meeting today during lunch in room 11.

A representative from Kirtland Community College will be here May 19.  Sign up in the office if you would like to speak

with him.

 

JUNIORS – as we begin planning for your senior year, consider paying your junior class dues of $15.  All class dues must be paid before you can go on your senior trip.  Your senior year is an expensive one; consider making it easier by paying in installment.  See Mrs. Phillips or Ms. Bernier.

 

The LCAS Health and Wellness Committee is sponsoring a Health and Fun Night on Thursday, May 13 from 6-8:00 p.m.  There will be activities such as a climbing wall (one of the tallest in MI), free snacks, and a kids obstacle course.  Come and see what it is all about.  We are also in need of some volunteers for some of the activities.  If you would like to help out, see Mr. Vasicek to sign up.

 

SENIORS – it is time to sign up for graduation walking partners.  Stop by the office before school, during lunch, or after school.  If you do not sign up by Friday, May 7 – we will assign your partner.

 

SENIORS - we will take a senior class photo on Friday, May 7 at 3:05 p.m. (right after the CTC bus returns).  If the weather is nice we will take the picture in front of the school, if not – meet in the gym.  WEAR YOUR SENIOR SHIRT.

 

SENIORS – there is an open house sign-up list on the senior board.  Please fill in the day, time, and location of your open house.
