ALL FEMALE STUDENTS – because too many girls have taken advantage of Mr. Peterson’s generosity in relaxing the dress code the past few days, the normal dress is now back in place.  No tank tops or halter tops, no low cut tops, and shorts and skirts must be fingertip length.  THIS WILL BE ENFORCED!

 

NHSers – there will be a meeting to elect officers for next year this Thursday at 7:49 a.m.  Note the time

change – it is not a lunchtime meeting!  Please be on time!

 

Want to canoe or kayak this summer?  Missaukee Paddle Sports is offering a summer pass for unlimited paddling for just $30.  See Mr. McGiness for details.

 

Exam exemption applications are in the wall pockets outside the high school office.  All applications must be returned by 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 28.

 

Locker clean-out has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 1 during 6th hour.  Ninth grade from 1:30-1:40 p.m., tenth grade from 1:40-1:50 p.m., and 11th grade from 1:50 to 2:00 p.m.

 

STUDENT BODY – class elections will be held TODAY.  If you are running for office be prepared to give a speech to your classmates.  Ninth grade will vote fifth hour, tenth grade will vote second hour, and eleventh grade will vote third hour.  All students are to report to class for attendance and then go directly to the auditorium.

 

SENIORS – Emmanual Lutheran Church invites you and your families to attend their first annual baccalaureate service on Thursday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m.  The church is located at 11198 E. M-55 in Cadillac.

 

If you have a cafeteria lunch charge - you must pay by Friday, May 28.  See Mr. Homan today if you have questions or need to make payment arrangements.

 

JUNIORS – as we begin planning for your senior year, consider paying your junior class dues of $15.  All class dues must be paid before you can go on your senior trip.  Your senior year is an expensive one; consider making it easier by paying in installments.  See Mrs. Phillips or Ms. Bernier.

Interested in going out for cross country this fall?  Attend the brief informational meeting on Thursday, May 27 during lunch in the auditorium.

 

All girls who have signed up to try out for volleyball next fall – there will be a shoe fitting meeting on Thursday, June 3 after school in the gym.  You will not need money at that time – we are just getting your shoe size.
