SENIORS – the Jostens rep will be in the building during lunch next Thursday, March 24 to deliver graduation announcements.  You must pay for your announcements when you pick them up.  If you have any questions, or need to make payment arrangements, see Ms. Gilson before March 24.

 

There have been several complaints regarding inappropriate behavior from students who go off campus during lunch.  If this behavior and complaints continue, the school will become a closed campus for all.

 

SOPHMORES - Sell! Sell! Sell!  Remember we get 50% profit. You have this week and next to sell.  Our Goal is 150 items sold.  Try to sell 5 items or more.  We'll reach our goal and make a great profit.

 

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Cheyenne Fetterolf!

 

The Second Annual Mr. Lake City Contest will take place this Friday, March 18th in the high school gym at 7:00 p.m. Contestants will compete in talent, swim trunk, and best dressed competitions. The winner will be crowned Mr. Lake City of 2011! Admission will be $4.00 per person, $12.00 per family of four. Concessions will be available and there will be an auction for a prime parking space at the athletic complex and two family athletic passes. Hope to see you there!

 

107.9 CDY in Cadillac is sponsoring Gown Town 2011.  They are taking donated prom dresses from all over the area and giving them away for FREE at Cadillac Junior High School on Saturday, April 2, beginning at 3:00 p.m.  If you have a prom dress you would like to donate, there is a rack outside of Mrs. Richardson's office where they will be collected. 

If you need a dress, be sure to attend the event.  There will be other vendors there as well offering accessories, fundraisers, and other items.

 

Math tutoring will be with Mr. Thom today.

 

COUNSELOR'S CORNER

 

Mid Michigan Community College will be hosting a College Day on Friday, April 15, 2011 from

9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Harrison Campus.  This is open to all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students and parents.  This is a free event for students to learn more about various colleges, universities, and military agencies.    For more information, visit www.midmich.edu/collegeday.

 

Any 10th or 11th grade students interested in attending CTC next year MUST fill out an application.  They are located in the pockets outside of Mrs. Richardson's office.  They need to be turned in to Mrs. Richardson BEFORE Spring Break.
