Saturday, April 9, the Missaukee County Library is hosting a book-signing for Katherine Phillips, Lake City's local high school author.  Come show your support and snag a signed copy!  Each book will be $10.00.  Hope to see you there!

 

NHSers - if you are interested and able to help out at track meets, see Ms. Bernier as soon as possible to get on the schedule. 

 

Student body - get your act together and sign up to try out for Senior Oscar Night.  If you would like to audition, fill out a form and turn it into Mr. Thom or Mrs. VanderBrook by Monday, April 11.  Forms are available in the pockets outside the office.

 

Student council - there will be a Senior Oscar Night meeting today during lunch.  It is important that you are there.

 

The Kiwanis Honors Banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Parent tickets are $5.00 each.  All other tickets are $9.00 each.  See Cindy Gilson in the

high school office to purchase your ticket.

 

SENIORS – graduation announcements will be held in the office until you are able to

pick them up.  You must pay before you take them.  Jostens will no longer accept checks

you must pay with cash or a money order.  See Ms. Gilson if you have any questions.

 

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Dillon Sloat.

 

"Dancing Around the World" Prom tickets are on sale today and tomorrow.  Price is $25 per person, which includes a picture package.  Sign up during lunch today or the week following spring break.  You must pay to receive your "passport" and picture package information will be available. 

If you need to make arrangements for a payment plan, please see Mrs. Peterson or Mrs. Atkins.

 

Juniors and Seniors going to prom can sign up for after-prom at lunch or see Erin Swanson or Jessica Miller.  The price to attend will be $10 again this year. Everyone who attends will receive a

t-shirt. All contracts need to be returned to Mrs. Peterson no later than April 14.

 

Congratulations to Matt Grieb for earning All-State honors at the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association All State Solo and Ensemble competition. Matt was awarded a first division rating for his performance.  Great job, Matt!
