STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monday, September 26, 2011

SOPHOMORES: There will be a short meeting for all sophomores at 8:17 a.m. Tuesday (tomorrow) morning.  Students are to report to class for attendance and then walk directly to the auditorium.

Jostens will be here to distribute class ring information.  This meeting will last one-half hour, and then you will return to class.

If you are interested in participating in one of the pep assembly games Friday afternoon, please

sign-up in the lobby at lunch this week.

The dress-up theme for Tuesday is “Monster Mash”, so come to school dressed to creep and snag your spirit point.

You dressed–up for Disco day.  How do you get your well-deserved spirit points?  You can claim your spirit point at lunch until 12:10 each day this week.  Freshmen will be going to Mrs. Peterson’s room, sophomores to Ms. Morse’s room, juniors to Mr. Bongard’s room, and seniors to Mrs. Phillip’s room.  Go check-in before getting your lunch, because at 10 minutes after 12 they stop giving points.  Afternoon CTC should stop and see Mr. Thom in room 11 right before going to lunch to get their spirit point.  Earn Spirit Points for yourself and your class toward winning the annual spirit trip this coming spring!

Sophomores will be building their float today from 4 – 7:30 p.m.

There will be a meeting for all homecoming representatives today in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room at the beginning of 6th hour.  Representatives must report to class for attendance before being dismissed to their meeting.

Homecoming 2011 is one week away.  We invite you to join us in “A Night Amongst the Gods” next Saturday night.  Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door.  The dance will take place from 8-11:15 p.m. If you plan to bring a guest to the homecoming dance, you must register that person in the high school office.  Your guest must be under the age of 20.  We must have a phone number to reach your guest if necessary.

Freshmen need to finish their float tonight.  We will be working from 5 to 7 p.m. or till whenever we finish.  We need all the help we can to get this done so be there.
