Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Elizabeth Redman.

 

North Star driver’s education classes start this Wednesday. Registration forms are located in front of the office.

 

Math tutoring this week will be on Thursday with Mrs. Vanderbrook.

 

There will be a Missaukee Agricultural Youth Show Open House at the Falmouth Community Center February 25th from 3-6 p.m.  For more information call 231-878-5673.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

If you have a prom dress or accessories that you would like to donate, 107.9 WCDY is having their Gown Town event again.  Places in the area will collect gently used times and then they will be given away at the event.  Take all donations to Mrs. Richardson.  Ask your friends and relatives as well.  Listen to 107.9 for more details!

 

SENIORS – the Wexford-Missaukee Retired School Personnel scholarship applications are to be to Mrs. Brandt by Wednesday, February 15.  The ZLP4 and Gary McGiness scholarship applications are due to Mrs. Richardson by March 1.  There aren’t many scholarship deadlines left - check out the school website.

 

Sergeant Aittama from the Marines will be in the lobby today during lunch.

 

ATHLETICS

 

Girls Varsity basketball @ NMC, bus departs at 6:00 p.m., game starts at 7:00 p.m.

 

There will be a meeting for any high school students interested in participating in golf this spring today.  Meet in the auditorium at 12:15 p.m.

 

Varsity girls basketball and varsity cheerleaders- sign up with Ms Gilson today for parents night.

 

CABERFAE PEAKS discount red cards are available.  These cards are good for discounts on lift tickets and ski or board rentals.  Cost is $1.00 and the card is good all season.  See Ms. Gilson to purchase.
