Attention student council members - we will have a meeting Wednesday at 12:10 p.m. in
Mrs. VanderBrook’s room. Please remember to give Mrs. VanderBrook your $12 for t-shirts.
Officers will be meeting today at lunch.
The 2nd Annual Athletic Boosters Tailgate event will take place Friday, October 5, at the athletic complex from 5:30-7 p.m. They will be serving pulled pork and other delicious items and all proceeds support Lake City Area Schools athletic programs.
Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Tiffany Porter.
YAC-sters - remember we have a meeting at 7:15 a.m., that’s right… 7:15 a.m. in Ms. Morse’s room this Thursday. Norann will be bringing doughnuts, so please be on time.
Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, October 4 in Mr. Thom’s room.
October 18 is a half-day of school due to parent-teacher conferences. There will still be CTC in the afternoon and the bus will run its regularly scheduled time. CTC students – you must make arrangements to have your parents pick you up when the bus returns to school.

The PSAT will be given on the morning of Wednesday, October 17, in the auditorium. This is open to any 10th or 11th grader who wishes to take it. The cost is $15 to be paid to Ms. Gilson by the day of the test. There is a sign-up sheet in the office. See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.
Michigan State and Hope College will be here on Wednesday, October 10 and Grand Valley on Thursday, October 11. Please sign up in the office before or after school or during your lunch time.
ATHLETICS
Varsity Cross Country Highland @ Beal City, dismissal time 2:00 p.m., bus departs at 2:15 p.m., meet starts at 4:30 p.m.
JV/Varsity Volleyball vs Marion, home, game starts at 6:00 p.m.
FALL ATHLETES – your Bear Claw Bag order was due yesterday. But, if you have your order with you today, Ms. Gilson will take it.
FOOTBALL AND CHEER ATHLETES – parents night is this Friday. You must register
your parents with Ms. Gilson by 3:30 this Thursday.
