Congratulations to our Student of the Week – Sarah Taylor.

 

Information is available in the office for anyone interested in an oratory contest for Wexford Missaukee Right to Life.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three local winners.

 

NHSers - get an early start on your 2^nd semester service hours. If you are able to help out at a benefit dinner on Thursday, January 24 see Ms. Bernier as soon as possible.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER   “Any human who feels that he or she is not 'good enough' to cultivate peace and generosity is overlooking the wondrous gift of life. You live, therefore you are good enough”~ Dhyani Ywahoo   There will be a Go To Team meeting Friday morning at 8:50 in Mrs. Peterson’s room.  This is at the end of 4th hour homeroom.    Seniors - local scholarship applications are due to Mrs. Richardson on Friday!   Copies of the master schedule have been posted for second semester.  If you need to make a change, fill out a schedule change form and turn it in to the box in the office asap.  You will receive a copy of your second semester schedule Friday during your class meeting, or you can look at your PowerSchool account on Monday.   ATHLETICS   Girls JV/Varsity basketball @ Beal City, bus departs at 4:00 p.m., game starts at 6:00 p.m.   SENIOR ATHLETES – applications are available for the MIAAA Scholarship (Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association).  We can submit only one male and one female for this scholarship.  If interested see Ms. Gilson for selection criteria and an application.  Deadline for this application is tomorrow, January 18.   Any girl that is interested in playing softball - there will be a meeting today in Mr. Sarau’s room at 3:10. If you cannot make it to the meeting sign up with Mr. Sarau before the end of the day tomorrow.   Guys – if you missed the baseball meeting yesterday and are interested in playing baseball this spring, you must sign up with Ms. Gilson asap.
