Today is the last chance to find your one true love. If you haven’t filled-out a Matchmaker form, see Mrs. VanderBrook between classes.

 

Yearbook Cover Photo Contest - the yearbook cover is in need of eight great pictures, and we want your help.  Submit your picture to Mrs. Atkins, and if it is chosen you will receive $5 off the cost of the yearbook and a free name stamp.  Pictures cannot be edited.  Submission deadline is January 30.  See Mrs. Atkins if you have any questions.

 

The 2013 yearbook is on sale now until Monday, February 11!  Orders may be placed with

Mrs. Atkins or on-line at www.yearbookforever.com.  The cost of the book is $35.  If needed, you may place a $20 deposit now and pay the remaining balance when they arrive in May.  See Mrs. Atkins if you have any questions.

 

Seniors - this is your last chance to get your senior picture, baby picture, and quote to Mrs. Atkins for the yearbook.  If we do not receive a senior picture, we will be using your Lifetouch picture.

There will be a prom committee meeting in Mr. Bongard’s room today at lunch. 

 

There will be a student council meeting today in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room at lunch.

 

Junior class officers meet in Mr. Bongard’s room today after school.

 

Tutoring is scheduled for today with Mrs. VanderBrook in room 13.

Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, January 24 in Mr. Bongard’s room.  

 

Seniors - you voted for Cedar Point as your senior trip destination!  Remember, the last day to pay your dues is Friday, February 1.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER   “Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.” ~ Benjamin Franklin   All schedule change requests need to be in by the end of the day today.  No changes will be made after today.   High school girls – the Annual Careers for Women Conference will be held on Tuesday, February 5 all day at Fox Hill Event Center in Cadillac.  Lunch is provided and there will be great speakers on non-traditional careers for women.  Sign up with Mrs. Richardson asap!   ATHLETICS   Boys varsity wrestling vs Frankfort and Manton @ Manton, bus departs at 4:00 p.m., match starts at 6:00 p.m.
