NHSers - the blood drive sign-up forms have arrived.  If you are interested in helping out on Friday, March 1 please see Ms. Bernier AFTER SCHOOL to sign up.

 

There will be a student council meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Vanderbrook’s room.

 

MatchMaker forms will be on sale at lunch today and tomorrow for $2. That’s a small price to pay to find out who you are most compatible with (and who to avoid).

 

Chill-out week starts Tuesday, February 19 culminating with Mock Rock 2013 on Saturday, February 23. Lots of spirit points are up for grabs. Will the 4^th place sophomores jump to the lead and win the spirit trip? It looks to go down to the wire this year.

 

Baker College is offering segment 1 driver education classes starting Friday, March 1.  Sign up forms are located outside the office or see Mr. Yeomans at lunch to sign up.

 

Tutoring is scheduled for today with Mr. Nederhood in room 13.

 

Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, February 14 in Mrs. Peterson’s room.

 

Come one, come all to get your picture taken at the photo booth.  Gather your friends to see which group can take the wackiest picture.  All purchased pictures will be in the yearbook.  Cost is $1 for each picture copy.  The photo booth will only be up until Thursday, so don't wait.

 Due to snow days, the deadline to order yearbooks has been extended until February 19.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER   “To be alive in this beautiful, self-organizing universe...to participate in the dance of life with senses to perceive it, lungs that breathe it, organs that draw nourishment from it... is a wonder beyond words” ~ Joanna Macy   The Missaukee Conservation District is looking for several volunteers to serve at their annual dinner.  It is Monday, February 18 from 4–8:30 p.m. at Timber Wolf Lodge.  You will get a free dinner, get to listen to a national speaker and hear performers Seth Bernard and Daisy May.  This is a great opportunity to help within your community and a chance to get volunteer hours to put on your applications and resumes.  Sign up in Mrs. Richardson’s office asap!   ATHLETICS   Boys JV/Varsity basketball @ Harrison, bus leaves at 4:15 p.m., game starts at 6:00 p.m.   Lake City wrestling is having a bench-a-thon fundraiser Saturday, February 23.  If interested check out the posters in the hallway for entry information.
