Mr. Bongard will meet with senior class officers tomorrow during lunch.  Please bring your own food.

 

Freshmen - all student council reps and class officer candidates need to turn in their petition containing the required 20 signatures, dues of $5, and platform speech today.  Please turn these items in to Mrs. Phillips, Ms. Bernier or Mrs. Thom. 

 

There will be a sophomore class officer meeting today during lunch.  Meet in Mrs. Borton’s room.

 

The Athletic Boosters Pig Roast is this Friday, September 13 from 5-7 p.m. at the Lake City Athletic Complex.  Proceeds support Lake City Area Schools athletic programs. 

 

Freshmen - we are looking for 2-4 people to help sell 50/50 tickets at this Friday’s football game.  It’s a fun way to help raise money for the class.  See Ms. Bernier, Mrs. Phillips, or Mrs. Thom to sign up.

 

YAC members and anyone interested in joining the Youth Advisory Committee – we will be having a meeting Friday morning at 7:45 in the high school library.

Baker College is offering driver education classes. Drive a Mustang, Firebird or Camaro for your driver training experience. Registration forms are outside the office or see Mr. Yeomans during lunch to sign up.  Classes start Tuesday, October 8.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

High school girls – if you are interested in a babysitting job right after school for a couple of hours a few days per week, see Mrs. Richardson for information.

 

Cadillac High School will be hosting their annual College Night on Thursday, October 10 from

6:30-8:30 p.m. in the high school auxiliary gymnasium.  Many college reps will be available to provide information and talk to prospective students.  This is a great opportunity for juniors and seniors.
